The future of work is increasingly oriented towards promoting the well-being of employees who work in the company and reorganizing office spaces to make them increasingly functional and suitable for the different organizational and management needs of the company. In this sense, numerous companies have undertaken a process of redefining their work areas, which have become open and, above all, smart.

In fact, the concept of "compartmentalized" offices is increasingly disappearing, in which each space has the purpose of highlighting a hierarchical difference in roles, to leave room for open spaces intended for the sharing and collaboration of employees who, although with skills and roles different, they can communicate more easily and share ideas and strategies, with a view to promoting teamwork.

The new trends in office design and organization therefore aim, on the one hand, to promote flexibility and, on the other, to always promote greater worker well-being.
The work environment represents the place where the employee spends most of his day and it is necessary to also take into consideration his personal needs, in order to favor and stimulate his productivity. This is why we are increasingly seeing the creation of spaces in offices for relaxation and physical activity as well as for lunch breaks but also, in some large companies, nurseries for workers with children.

The quality of life in the office thus becomes a priority that has pushed companies, especially in the recent period marked by the pandemic emergency, to rethink their structures. They also had to deal with the need to integrate the different areas present with the necessary technological devices. Hence the progressive increase in conference rooms but also integrated workstations equipped with increasingly cutting-edge devices to better respond to widespread smart-working.

In general, however, it can be said that, pandemic aside, in recent years companies have also had to review their structures in the direction of necessary energy efficiency not only to mitigate the impact on the environment but also to reduce consumption. Just think of the costs associated with heating and/or cooling offices but also the energy to power the increasingly widespread technological tools, costs which inevitably end up impacting the company's turnover. More generally, there is a growing sensitivity among companies towards the impact of their activities on the environment.

It should be added that, in response to the global appeal to reduce polluting emissions and waste as much as possible and to favor eco-friendly materials instead, it is the companies themselves that promote virtuous internal policies among their employees such as, for example, the use of biocompostable for completely "plastic free" offices. It is a choice to make employees reflect on the value of their daily actions, so that they can replicate these positive behaviors consistently even in their own homes, making them effectively acquired habits.

Not all buildings, however, are well suited to these new needs or in any case are no longer sufficient to satisfy the needs of businesses, in some cases because they are too "dated" or have limited spaces. In fact, there are many companies that are undertaking a process of reorganization and redefinition of their spaces, looking for new structures in which to transfer their business in order to make it more functional.

When searching for an office, whether it is a new business or an existing one that is expanding, some fundamental aspects must be taken into account. This is not always a simple undertaking and, therefore, it can be very useful to contact a real estate agency with years of experience in the field, who can support the customer in his search for the most suitable structure to satisfy his needs.

It is therefore advisable to turn to a real estate agency with experience in the sector which will be able to best support entrepreneurs in the search process and which, thanks to its team of professionals and collaborators, will be able to provide consultancy services also for restoration and renovation activities that the customer wishes to undertake.

In fact, it is not uncommon for companies to develop their business in a disjointed way from a logistical point of view, for example with warehouses that are too distant or difficult to reach from the main structure, to the detriment of internal functionality and with a consequent waste of resources and production time. Thanks to the targeted consultancy of an expert in the sector, however, it will be possible to identify the most functional building for your business, also taking into account
